Itinerary: 11-Day Bhutan Tour

Day 1: Arrival – Bagdogra to Phuentsholing

  • Arrive at Bagdogra Airport and meet our representative.
  • Drive to Phuentsholing, Bhutan’s gateway town.
  • Check in at the hotel and relax.
  • Explore the local markets in the evening.
  • Overnight stay: Hotel in Phuentsholing.

Day 2: Phuentsholing to Thimphu – Sightseeing En Route

  • After breakfast, process the Bhutan entry permit.
  • Visit Kharbandi Gompa and Milerapa Lhakhang.
  • Drive through spectacular mountain views via Gedu (9,000 ft) with a stop at Chukha Dam.
  • Enjoy a photo stop at Wankha Waterfalls.
  • Arrive in Thimphu and check in at the hotel.

Day 3: Thimphu – Full-Day Sightseeing

Day 9: Paro – Tiger’s Nest Trekking

  • Early morning trek to Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang).
  • The trek takes approximately 6 hours (round trip).
  • Return to Paro and relax.

Day 10: Paro to Phuentsholing – Local Sightseeing & Transfer

  • Nya Mey Zam Bridge
  • Rinpung Dzong
  • National Museum of Bhutan
  • Kyichu Lhakhang
  • Drive back to Phuentsholing.

Day 11: Phuentsholing to Bagdogra – Departure
